A Bit About Us
Working Towards a Better Tomorrow
Here at JWB Recovery, we are passionate about providing equitable, accessible support to anyone between the ages of 13-45 who has been impacted by a loved one struggling with drug or alcohol addiction. Our mission is to reduce the stigma around addiction and create a strong, healthy community of members at all different stages of their healing processes. We strive to bring about positive change and create safe habits and hobbies that make our community members happy.

We host informal emotional support groups and field trips to bring people together. We also host educational presentations across the Denver metro area.

JWB Recovery's Commitment to Action has been accepted by the 2022 Clinton Global Initiative University as a viable venture to reduce the stigma and provide support to those affected by addiction.
Support
Groups
Our virtual, informal support groups are accessible for individuals worldwide! These events are a great opportunity to come together and vent, ask questions, give and get advice and support, and have difficult conversations that you may not be able to have elsewhere, with people who understand what you are going through. Although these groups are led by our founder and CEO, Nikki, who is a trained therapist, this is not formal group therapy. These groups are an informal way to create a sense of community among individuals who are struggling or have struggled with a loved one's drug or alcohol addiction. Support groups for teens ages 13-17 are usually hosted on the third Sunday of every month, and support groups for adults ages 18-45 are usually hosted on the third Monday of every month, always via Microsoft Teams at 6pm MST. A full schedule of events and pages to RSVP can be found here.
Our field trips are a great way for individuals between the ages of 13-45 who have been impacted by a loved one's drug or alcohol addiction, who in the Denver metro area, to come together and spend quality time with others who understand what they are struggling with. These field trips are an opportunity to create a sense of community while participating in a fun activity. Field trips are held every other month at varying locations. A full schedule and links to RSVP can be found here.
